Our Story

From humble beginnings to industry leaders

Company Establishment

SR Zone Construction and Maintenance (Pty) Ltd was established as a 100% black-owned private company located within the John Taolo District, operating from Kathu in the Northern Cape.

BBBEE Level 1 Contributor

We achieved BBBEE Level 1 Contributor status, demonstrating our commitment to economic transformation and empowerment in South Africa.

Mining Industry Focus

From the beginning, our business activity has been mainly in the Mining Industry, particularly with Kumba Iron Ore (Sishen Mine and Kolomela Mine).

Expanding Service Portfolio

We expanded our services to include Building and Construction, Track Construction and Maintenance, Conveyor Belts, CCTV Components, Power Tools, and more.

Community Development

We identified the need to develop previously disadvantaged people within mining host communities through employment and training, focusing on knowledge transfer about power tools and their applications.
